Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- An increase in the rain and wind conditions currently existing in the south-western parts of the country is expected from tomorrow expect to persist in the next few days due to the active south-west monsoon, the Department of Meteorology forecast.

Fairly heavy rains above 100 mm may occur at some places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces, and Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Galle Districts tomorrow, the department added.
