SriLanka, March 27 -- Showers or thundershowers may develop in parts of the Sabaragamuwa Province and the Galle, Matara, Kalutara, and Nuwara Eliya districts during the evening or night today (27). The Department of Meteorology issued a statement noting that dry weather will otherwise prevail across the remainder of the island.

Morning fog is anticipated in certain areas within the Central, Sabaragamuwa, North Central, and Uva provinces, as well as the Kurunegala, Vavuniya, Galle, and Matara districts. The Department urges the public to take necessary precautions to minimise risks from lightning and temporary strong winds that often accompany thundershowers.
