Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- The eldest son of former Colombo Mayor A. J. M. Muzammil was arrested by the Central Crime Investigation Bureau at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.

The arrest was carried out following a complaint received regarding the non-payment of nearly Rs.36 million owed in connection with a building construction project.

The Central Crime Investigation Bureau is conducting further investigations regarding the suspect.
