Sri Lanka, July 20 -- The selling price of a white egg is increased to Rs. 41 and a red egg to Rs. 42 from today (20), according to the All Island Egg Producers Association.

The chairman of the association, Sarath Ratnayake, stated that between 7.5 million and 8.5 million eggs are currently released to the local market.
