Sri Lanka, May 21 -- Members of the Election Commission (EC) have been summoned today (21) before the special committee appointed to recommend a voting system for Provincial Council elections.

The committee, chaired by Minister Vijitha Herath, has held several meetings to study and propose recommendations on the electoral system to be used for Provincial Council polls.
