Sri Lanka, Sept. 25 -- The Ministry of Digital Economy announced that the issuance of electronic vehicle revenue licences in all provinces except the Western Province is temporarily suspended starting today until the 28th of this month due to an update to the electronic revenue licence system.

The ministry stated this action is taken with the aim of providing users with a more efficient and superior service.

Following the relevant system updates, the system will be reactivated to provide services normally once again starting Tuesday the 29th of this month.
