Sri Lanka, June 7 -- The Sri Lanka Association of Divisional Secretaries and Assistant Divisional Secretaries says that Divisional Secretaries and Assistant Divisional Secretaries will not participate in any meetings held on Mondays, which are designated as Public Day, starting from tomorrow (08).

The association's President, R. Senthil, stated that the decision was taken considering the difficulties caused to Divisional Secretariat operations and the public due to various meetings being held physically or online by different ministries, government institutions, and political authorities on Public Day Mondays.
