Sri Lanka, March 25 -- Dialog Axiata PLC has rapidly scaled its next-generation mobile infrastructure, with its 5G network now spanning more than 800 operational sites across 24 districts. This follows the initial commercial launch of its 5G Ultra service, which originally covered 220 sites and served 1.5 million subscribers. The expanded footprint now reaches areas including Ratnapura, Monaragala, Badulla, Vavuniya, Polonnaruwa, Hambantota, Mullaitivu, and Kegalle, because apparently, everyone deserves high-speed internet even if they're just using it to scroll through memes.
