Sri Lanka, July 4 -- The cumulative number of dengue infections recorded this year exceeded 58,000.

Acting Director of the National Dengue Control Unit Dr. Kapila Kannangara confirmed the total reaches 58,810.

The death toll rose to 39.

Additionally, 1,140 cases were reported yesterday (03).
