Sri Lanka, April 16 -- A decision regarding the resumption of scheduled water cuts will be announced after April 19, according to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.
A senior spokesperson told Hiru News that no conclusion has been reached yet on the matter. Due to the prevailing dry weather and limited water capacity, the Board initiated phased water cuts starting from April 02. These disruptions affected several areas in the Colombo district, including Homagama and Padukka, under multiple stages.
