Sri Lanka, Oct. 2 -- Colombo Magistrate Pasan Amarasena has issued notices ordering ten doctors on the medical board of Major General Suresh Sallay to appear in court on October 6.

The notices were issued after the court considered facts presented through a motion filed by the Criminal Investigation Department.

Doctors had previously recommended that Suresh Sallay remain admitted at the National Hospital until September 28.

As that date has passed, the court issued the notices directing the medical board to present facts regarding future steps.
