Sri Lanka, Oct. 23 -- The order issued yesterday (22) by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court instructing the group, including monks engaged in the satyagraha at Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo to evacuate cannot be altered, and police can take necessary legal action under the Penal Code if anything occurs against the relevant order, Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered today (23).

Two motions were filed today by the Attorney General and the group protesting in Viharamahadevi Park.

The group engaged in the protest filed their motion requesting the removal or alteration of the order issued by the court yesterday.
