Sri Lanka, Oct. 25 -- The Consumer Affairs Authority launched a series of special raids across the island targeting violations of consumer protection laws, including the failure to display prices on goods.

The authority states that officers recorded nearly 200 violations during raids conducted across multiple districts from October 20 to yesterday, October 24.

These raids aim to ensure that consumers have the opportunity to clearly check prices before purchasing goods, guarantee market price transparency, and prevent unfair trade practices.
