Sri Lanka, Nov. 7 -- Operations at the Colombo National Hospital returned to normal after heavy rainfall caused flash flooding and disrupted hospital activities.

Hospital staff worked to clean up the affected areas, completing the process within a few hours and restoring normal operations.

The flooding followed intense rainfall in Colombo, with the Meteorology Department reporting 129 mm of rain within a few hours, inundating several roads and low-lying areas across the city.
