Sri Lanka, Oct. 29 -- The Colombo High Court rejected bail applications today (29) for three accused, including Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, also known as Harak Kata, a major drug trafficking suspect detained at the Welisara prison, along with requests to release two other defendants.

Colombo high court judge Buddhika C. Ragala issued this order.

The judge stated in the order that these bail requests cannot be considered at this time because the Attorney General filed an appeal in the court of Appeal against a previous High Court order.
