Sri Lanka, Aug. 23 -- Colonel Ranjith Rajasinghe (Rtd) was appointed as the new Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

The Civil Aviation Authority states that this was following the resignation of its former Chairman Sunil Jayaratne.
