Sri Lanka, Sept. 24 -- Children under 12 years of age receive free admission on 1 October 2026 to the Dehiwala National Zoo, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Pinnawala Zoo, and Ridiyagama Safari Park, which operate under the Department of National Zoological Gardens, for Children's Day.

The Department of National Zoological Gardens further states that numerous special features and surprising experiences are arranged for arriving children during this World Children's Day.
