Sri Lanka, July 5 -- The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) decided to further extend the suspension of Perpetual Treasuries Limited from operating as a primary dealer.

This action follows regulations issued under the Registered Stock and Securities Ordinance and the Local Treasury Bills Ordinance.

The decision aims to facilitate the continuation of ongoing investigations against the company.

The suspension continues for a further six months, effective from 4.30 p.m. on July 5.
