Sri Lanka, Oct. 7 -- The Cabinet of Ministers approved awarding a contract to build the internal wastewater collection network and pumping system at the Textile Manufacturing Investment Zone in the Punnai Kuda area of the Eravurpattu Divisional Secretariat Division, Batticaloa District.

The Cabinet earlier approved the development of infrastructure facilities in the investment zone on 2 November 2020. Bids for the construction work were invited under the National Competitive Procurement Procedure, and seven were submitted.
