Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- Nugegoda Additional Magistrate Sanjaya Wijesinghe has postponed the sentencing of a defendant to October 28 after he pleaded guilty to all four charges in a fraud case involving bad cheques worth over ten million rupees.

The case was filed before the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court by the Criminal Investigation Department, accusing Prasad Deshapriya of issuing dishonoured cheques in exchange for goods valued at over ten million rupees obtained from a businessman during a commercial transaction.
