Sri Lanka, Sept. 26 -- Officers from the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption have recorded a statement from Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa, who is currently in remand custody.

The statement was recorded regarding allegations that he accepted a bribe of Rs.70 million from Janaki Siriwardhana, the former Executive Director of the Krrish Group.
