Sri Lanka, Aug. 4 -- A person who attempted to offer a bribe of Rs. 500,000 to the Theldeniya Headquarters Police Inspector was arrested inside the police station.

The bribe was to release a drug trafficker.

The Police Media Division stated that the person involved in the incident is a 29-year-old individual.
