Sri Lanka, Sept. 19 -- The police have recovered the bodies of a young woman and a young man who went missing after being caught in a strong current while bathing in the Maha Oya in the Badalgama area.

Police stated that two other individuals remain missing and search operations are currently underway to locate them.

According to the police, the group had gone to bathe in the Maha Oya this afternoon (19) when they were suddenly swept away by a strong current.
