Blood test urged for children with fever after 48 hours
Sri Lanka, June 16 -- Children must undergo a blood test 48 hours after contracting a fever due to an increased risk of dengue, Paediatric Specialist Viraj Jayasinghe says.
He mentioned this while participating in a press conference held in Colombo today (16).
Meanwhile, according to investigations conducted so far, dengue mosquito breeding places are heavily reported around the school system, Minister of Health Dr Nalinda Jayatissa stated while participating in the cabinet decisions briefing press conference today.
