BC files cases against Keheliya Rambukwella over unexplained assets
Sri Lanka, April 3 -- Two more cases involving the acquisition of assets worth over Rs 960 million beyond legal income were filed against former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella before the Colombo Special Bribery High Court, the Bribery Commission states.
The cases were filed on the 31st following an extensive investigation conducted by the Bribery Commission under money laundering regulations.The charges relate to assets acquired between January 1, 2021, and September 14, 2023, as well as between September 15, 2013, and December 31, 2013.
