Sri Lanka, Sept. 24 -- Bar Association of Sri Lanka President, lawyer, and accountant Rajeev Amarasuriya stated in a special social media post that he sometimes wonders how different his professional journey might have been if his main focus had shifted to accounting instead of law.

Although his professional life mainly focused on the legal profession, the foundation gained from accounting continuously influenced his approach to tasks where law, finance, regulation, and good governance intersect, as he pointed out.

He emphasised that technology and artificial intelligence are rapidly transforming the contributions that these professions and society make today.
