Sri Lanka, July 29 -- A resolution opposing the proposal to extend the retirement age of judicial officers was unanimously passed by the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL).

President of the Association Rajeev Amarasuriya stated that the decision was reached during the special general meeting held today (29).
