Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- A delegation led by Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) President Rajeev Amarasuriya addressed the High Court of Bhutan during a historic visit to the Kingdom of Bhutan.

The main purpose of the visit is to strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences regarding the administration of justice between Sri Lanka and Bhutan.

Amarasuriya spoke before the High Court bench, comprising eight judges led by Chief Justice Duba Drukpa.

Welcoming the Bar Association of Sri Lanka delegation, the Chief Justice described the visit as a valuable opportunity to expand ties between the legal communities of both countries.
