Sri Lanka, Oct. 23 -- The Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama today (23) ordered to release MP Chamara Sampath, who was arrested by the Bribery Commission in connection with the incident of taking bribe money from three gem businessmen to run their gem businesses without interference during the time he served as the State Minister of Primary Industries, and his former secretary on bail.

The Magistrate who ordered to release each suspect on two personal bails of Rs.1 million each also ordered to issue a travel ban.

This order was given after the submission of facts by the Bribery Commission when the case related to the incident was called.
