Sri Lanka, April 16 -- The first-ever auspicious time for departing for emergency duties, as included in the Sinhala and Tamil New Year almanac, falls tomorrow.

According to the almanac, it is appropriate to depart for emergency duties tomorrow at 5:38 am while facing the North, dressed in golden-colored attire, and after consuming milk rice mixed with curd and sweetmeats mixed with urad dal.

Additionally, the auspicious time for departing for general employment falls on Monday, April 20, at 6:27 am.

Meanwhile, the auspicious time for planting saplings is set for Thursday, April 23, at 9:01 am.
