Sri Lanka, March 12 -- Around 1,800 patients with leptospirosis (rat fever) were reported during the elapsed time of the year, says the Epidemiology Unit.

Specialist Doctor Thushani Dabarera stated this while joining the press conference held yesterday at the Health Promotion Bureau.
