Sri Lanka, Sept. 17 -- A Sri Lanka Army Commando team retrieved the body of a young man who died after falling down a precipice at the 'Mini World's End' viewing centre in Ududumbara.

The deceased was a 27-year-old youth residing in the Lunukadiyamaditta area in Menikhinna, police stated. A Sri Lanka Army Commando team conducted a special operation yesterday (16) to retrieve the body.

A 17-member team from the Army Commando Regiment commenced the operation following a notification from the Central Provincial Office of the Disaster Management Centre regarding the incident at the viewing centre, which is maintained by the Department of Forest Conservation.
