Aircraft struck by bird lands in Katunayake
Sri Lanka, July 11 -- An A330 passenger aircraft that departed this morning from the Katunayake International Airport for Istanbul, and was later struck by a bird, has now safely returned to Katunayake.
The aircraft was seen flying at a very low altitude in the skies of Chilaw to burn fuel after being struck by a bird.
Our correspondent mentioned that the aircraft is currently at the Katunayake International Airport.
The aircraft carried 253 passengers and 10 crew members.
