Sri Lanka, Oct. 30 -- An advisory council was appointed to implement development programs for the Anuradhapura Sacred City under the co-chairmanship of Acting Atamasthanadhipathi Most Venerable Ithalawetunuwewe Gnanathilaka Thera and Senior Chief of Presidential Staff Prabath Chandrakeerthi, the President's Media Division states.

The purpose of this council is to provide necessary advice and guidance to implement development programs in the Anuradhapura Sacred City.
