SriLanka, April 1 -- Foreign remittances grew by 32% on a year-on-year basis during the first two months of this year.
The Central Bank stated that official reserves stood at US$ 7.3 billion by the end of February, while the Rupee has depreciated by 1.6% so far this year.
Additionally, the total expenditure on vehicle imports during the first two months amounted to US$ 418 million.
