Sri Lanka, July 12 -- The Ministry of Finance stated that the second reading of the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming year 2027, or the budget speech, will take place on 12 November.

The publication of the Appropriation Bill in the gazette is scheduled for 18 September.

Accordingly, the first reading will happen on 07 October, and the second reading debate will be conducted from 13 to 20 November, the Ministry of Finance further mentioned.
