Sri Lanka, April 16 -- Two individuals died, and six others remain missing after a group bathing in the Daduru Oya at Kobeyigane, Nikaweratiya, met with an incident today, according to the Police Media Division.

Police stated that the bodies of the two deceased individuals have been recovered.

Two other people who were drowning were rescued and hospitalised.

Operations to find the six missing members of the group are currently being carried out by residents and security forces.
