Sri Lanka, Aug. 27 -- Ten plantation workers were admitted to the Maskeliya Regional Hospital this afternoon (27) after sustaining injuries in a hornet attack during a puja at the Muniyandi Kovil in the Hapugastenne Tea Estate, Maskeliya.

The Maskeliya Police stated that the attack occurred around 3:00 PM today when a hornet nest in a nearby tree was disturbed while a religious event was taking place.

A hospital spokesperson mentioned that four women and six men were hospitalised, and the condition of the injured receiving in-house treatment is not serious.
