Sri Lanka, July 30 -- New appointments will be presented to 1,444 individuals across 14 fields in four professional categories of the health service, according to the Ministry of Health.

The special ceremony, presided by Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, will be held on August 01 at 9 a.m. at the Temple Trees conference hall.

The new appointment are presented aligning with government initiatives to strengthen human resources in the free health service, according to the Ministry of Health.

Professional groups receiving appointments comprise non-technical management assistants, primary skilled services, primary semi-skilled services, and primary non-skilled services.
