Sri Lanka, Nov. 4 -- The Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine at Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine has announced that a video circulating on social media, which claims that ragging is taking place at the university, is entirely false.

The video is reportedly based on a personal dispute that occurred on the 2nd (the day before yesterday) between a group of third-year students and a group of senior students from the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine.

The Dean emphasized that the incident has been wrongly portrayed as a case of ragging with the intention of damaging the reputation of the university.
