Sri Lanka, Aug. 12 -- An illegal trade of 'Madana Modaka' containing toxic drugs sold to schoolchildren from an Ayurveda herbal medicine shop in Galnewa town was raided.

Galnewa Police and officers from the North Central Province Department of Ayurveda made the arrest during a joint raid.

During the raid, officers managed to find 93 Madana Modaka balls containing toxic drugs and 18 small bottles containing Madana Modaka prepared to be sold to schoolchildren. The total value of the seized Madana Modaka stock values approximately 200,000 rupees, according to the police.

The arrested suspect resides in the Sevanagala area.
