Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- Organised criminal Ranjith Kumara alias 'Konda Ranji' is scheduled to be brought to the island today (09) morning.

This is after being deported to the island from Dubai following his arrest.

The suspect was arrested by Dubai police while attempting to flee to Italy last January.

Security forces there had also arrested his wife and children with him, and the wife and children were released later.

Police stated that Konda Ranji is the main suspect wanted by police regarding the murder of former Minister Mangala Samaraweera's coordinating secretary, Sameera Manahara.
