Yoga now global health, wellness movement: Nadda
New Delhi, June 22 -- The ministry of Ayush celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) at 40 prominent locations across Delhi on Sunday. "The enthusiastic public participation reflects the spirit of 'Jan Bhagidari' and the growing acceptance of Yoga as a way of life," said Ayush ministry in a statement.
As part of the nationwide observance, Union minister of health and family welfare, JP Nadda, participated in a mass yoga session organised at Shantipath. "Yoga an ancient gift of India's civilisational heritage, has today emerged as a global movement for health and well-being owing to the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi," said Nadda.
