India, Sept. 23 -- A chartered accountant's WhatsApp messages sent shortly before his death have led the Borivali GRP to book his wife for alleged abetment of suicide. The 39-year-old man was found dead on the tracks between Jogeshwari and Ram Mandir stations on Monday, with police saying he had alleged in messages to his sister and a friend that his wife was having an extramarital affair.

The CA had left home for work on Monday morning. His 75-year-old father later received a call saying that his son had met with a railway accident. When he reached Shatabdi Hospital, he learnt that his son had died by suicide, police said.
