India, Sept. 9 -- Lucknow is the cleanest city in India at the moment, according to the Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan 2026. It scored 198 points among cities with a population of over 10 lakh.

Delhi scored 172 points to rank 21st, while Mumbai scored 160.8 points and stood at 28th in the category. The survey ranks cities in three population-based categories: more than 10 lakh, 3 lakh to 10 lakh, and less than 3 lakh.

Noida ranked 8th in the 3-10 lakh population category while Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata stood at 32nd, 35th and 38th, respectively, in the Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan 2026.
