When temperature rise to 40degC: Neurologist cautions stroke risk in summer; how heatwaves, dehydration impact the brain
India, May 23 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded a high alert as a relentless heatwave tightens its grip on northwest and central India. The situation is so bad that the temperatures in the national capital and surrounding regions are hovering near 45degC (113degF). These extreme temperatures can not only lead to dehydration but also be bad for your brain, significantly increasing stroke risk.
