India, Sept. 17 -- The US House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a broad package of sanctions targeting Russian officials and key pillars of its economy. The bill, experts fear, will give Trump power to impose more sweeping tariffs, potentially sending shockwaves through the economy. 261 House Reps said 'Yes' while 159 said 'No.'

The bill, named after late Senator Lindsay Graham Russian President Vladimir Putin of the financial resources needed to wage the war against Ukraine.

The bill is named after the late Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who spent more than a year working on it. If the House passes the bill, it will go to President Donald Trump to be signed into law.
