LUCKNOW, Sept. 26 -- Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister and health minister Brajesh Pathak has urged doctors in the state to write prescriptions in Hindi, saying this could make healthcare information easier for patients to understand. The doctors have welcomed the suggestion but pointed out several practical issues in implementing it. In an open letter to the doctors on Friday, Pathak said he was making the request not only as the deputy chief minister and health minister but also as a Hindi-loving Indian.
