LUCKNOW, Aug. 2 -- Police in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district have launched a search operation for a 22-year-old man in connection with the murder of his 17-year-old sister on Saturday, officials familiar with the matter said, adding that the incident took place days after the teenager was reunited with her family after having allegedly left home with a local man. An officer said that the victim was allegedly struck repeatedly with a heavy, sharp farming implement after an argument over her relationship with a 23-year-old local man.
