New Delhi, May 3 -- The Delhi government's home department has issued an order relieving Indian police Services (IPS) officer Madhup Kumar Tiwari, 1995 batch, from Delhi Police and transferring him to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect. The move follows approval from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, according to an official order dated May 2, 2026. Tiwari, who was serving as Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) in Delhi, has been shifted to the Arunachal Pradesh segment of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre.
